THE Bridport branch of a national cake decorating organisation is restarting its monthly meetings for the first time in 18 months.

The Bridport branch of the British Sugarcraft Guild will mark its 25th anniversary by commencing its in-person monthly meetings for the first time since the start of the pandemic.

Members will be meeting at the Ivy House Kitchen at Groves Garden Centre from 7pm on Tuesday, September 14 before a demonstration by an award-winning member of the organisation from 7.30pm.

A celebratory cake made by another award-winning member will be on the menu to accompany a cup of tea.

Members of the group are at a variety of different levels of cake decorating, model making and sugar flower making.

New members and visitors are welcome to attend events.
