THE people who write suggesting the closure of part of South Street are ignoring important factors.
First, the access to theatres and car-parks and shops.
Second it’s a major access to Morrisons.
Thirdly it is actually a through road from the town centre to West Bay and Burton Bradstock.
If the entrance to South Street were blocked it would add at least a mile of diversion round Sea Road and the Crown Roundabout. It seems to me work reasonably well as it is.
