Re:- front page article on parking permits
HOW Dorset Councillors can sit in a room and decide that hiking parking permits for shopping up 143% is in anyway sensible is beyond most people’s comprehension.
The article should have started off with ‘Once upon a time there were people without brains who believed they were capable of looking after our society….’ Unfortunately, most fairy stories have happy endings; while with Dorset Council there never is.
Hike up prices to go shopping, that is okay; but help the Bridport Carnival to survive; don’t be silly, it might just inconvenience a few; or could it possibly be affecting one of the decision makers getting home?
Maybe those in office will consider, one day, what they are really there for. Please bring back just a little common sense, which appears to be totally missing at the moment.
