Funds were raised for Freedom for Torture in Bucky Doo Square
I WOULD like to extend a very BIG thank you to all the kind people of Bridport who supported our ‘Everything 50 pence’ stall in Bucky Doo Square on Saturday 21st August.
Despite a very damp, grey start, the band in the Square played on and really raised our spirits. By the end of the day the sun was shining and we had raised a very pleasing £163.98 for Freedom from Torture.
Freedom from Torture is a national charity dedicated to healing and protecting asylum seekers and refugees who have survived torture by helping them recover and rebuild their lives in the UK.
