A POPULAR West Bay hotel will no longer taken over by new owners as previously planned.
The owners of Haddon House Hotel, Paul and Jo Loud, confirmed they did in fact have a verbal deal in place to sell the hotel.
However, the buyer has now decided against the purchase and the hotel will remain in the hands of Mr and Mrs Loud.
The hotel will not be going back on the market and the owners, who have been at the hotel for 43 years, will continue to run it themselves.
Paul Loud said: "Myself and Jo would like to announce to all of our customers and friends that we will be no longer be selling and will instead be staying at the Haddon House Hotel."
