A STAPLE of the Bridport town centre will be celebrating its 100th birthday later this month.
The Bridport and West Dorset Club is holding an event to mark its 100th year of operating on Saturday, September 18.
The social club has been at its south street location since 1921, offering pool and darts along with both alley and table skittles. It is a not for profit members club, run by a voluntary elected committee.
The event will begin at 12pm, with live music, a barbecue and a raffle draw in the club's garden.
President of the Bridport and West Dorset Club, Dee Fenton, said herself and the committee would like to thank all current and past members and teams for their support over the years and look forward to welcoming new members for the next 100.
