A PERFORMANCE of 'stick dancing' will be going ahead next week in aid of a local air force charity.

Lyme Morris Dancers will be performing on Wednesday, August 18 in Bucky Doo Square in support of the Bridport and Lyme Regis Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA).

The performance will begin at 10am and continue until 1pm.

The dancers will be dressed in their unique white and green livery and traditional top hats they will perform a variety of high energy 'stick dances 'accompanied by musicians.

Traditional dances will be in the bleddington, border and cotswold styles.

The Lyme Morris Dancers was formed 12 years ago and support local charities through a series of fundraising events.
