A NEW exhibition is currently taking place in Lyme Regis, marking a museum's 100th birthday.
The Museum in a Matchbox exhibition, curated by Christine Allison, is described as an exhibition of inspiration, innovation and creativity. The exhibition was put together by more than 60 people to celebrate 100 years of Lyme Regis Museum.
The museum celebrated its 100th birthday in March of this year. Unable to open to the public due to the lockdown restrictions in place at the time, the occasion was celebrated by Lyme Regis town crier Alan Vian announcing the museum's centenary.
The Museum in a Matchbox exhibition began on Friday, July 30 and will run through to Sunday, October 31.
Numbers are limited in the museum and those who attend are asked to wear a face covering.
