PERMISSION has been granted for holiday accommodation at a farm on the outskirts of Bridport.
The change of use application was granted by Symondsbury Parish Council for the addition of a family camping unit, separate shower, toilet and hot tub at Denhay Farm in Loders.
The area of the site being used for this purpose covers approximately 0.1 hectares and the camping unit will be in the form of a unique bell tent
The parish council said the area identified for change of use is minimal and does not disturb the current rural feel and use. The council also said the proposals have detailed regard to a sustainable
development and specifically the immediate environment and that the application was well considered and addressed all issues appropriately, including carbon footprint and light pollution.
