A PARTY spanning an entire weekend and featuring music, poetry and milk vodka will take place at a west Dorset farm next month.

The Black Cow Saloon, hosted by Black Cow - the creators of the world's first pure milk vodka - will take place between Friday, September 3 and Sunday, September 5.

The three-day event will feature a variety of musical acts across a number of different genres, along with DJs, poetry, fashion and plenty of food and drink.

There will be performances from the likes of the Trojans - specialising in ska and reggae with a dash of soul, funk and R&B sprinkled in, Cornish four-piece bluegrass outfit, Flats and Sharps and American blues rock musician C.C. Adcock with his band the Lafayette Marquis.

There will also be poetry from Murray Lachlan Young, food offerings from celebrity chef Mark Hix, and Alice Temperley will host a pop-up selling garments from her luxury fashion house Temperley London.

The party will take place on Black Cow's farm in Seaborough, which neighbours its distiller.

Locally sourced food will also be available on site with a variety of traders serving up food and drink. There will also be plenty of local ciders, beers and wine, along with Black Cow's own vodka- based drinks - including it's espresso martini sidecar .

The original Black Cow Saloon, a travelling 'honky tonk' musical bar has been a mainstay at a number of UK festivals over the past five years.

Weekend tickets for the event include camping, whether in a tent, motorhome or campervan and car parking, and are being sold at £75 per person. For those who fancy a little more luxury, there are glamping options available from Glastonbury-based Hearthworks.

If the event is cancelled or postponed due to Covid-19, those who have purchased tickets will be offered the option of rolling it over to the rescheduled date or a full refund.
