BRIDPORT manager Rob Marquis insists the Bees will be going “all out” to win their FA Cup extra preliminary tie with Fleet Town on Saturday (3pm).
Bridport welcome Town to St Mary’s Field off the back of a 7-1 loss to Helston Athletic and a 7-0 defeat to Shepton Mallet on Tuesday.
But with Bridport now possessing a fully-fit squad after Covid-19 and self-isolation absences, Marquis is eager to see what his inexperienced side can do.
He told the Bridport News: “I remember going to Fleet when I was Weymouth years ago – they were Southern League, so they’ve obviously fallen from grace a little bit.
“You’d hope Saturday would be more of an indication as to where we’re at.
“I’m certainly not a Premier League manager where you rest players, the FA Cup means a lot to us.
“For some players it will be the first time they’ve been involved in the FA Cup, so there’s a bit of prestige.

“We’ll be taking it very seriously and we’ll be going all out to try and win.
“We’re hoping with the players back to pick from it gives us options, with a full squad.
“Our patterns of play come off the back of that. Having a goalscoring centre-forward helps immensely.”
New strike signing Troy Walbridge is set to make his competitive debut for the Bees.
Following the Fleet game, Bridport host Street on Tuesday evening (7.45pm) in the Toolstation Western League Premier Division.
