A NIGHT of soul music and dancing is set to go ahead this weekend.
The Bridport Soul Club night will take place on Saturday, August 7 at the Masonic Hall on East Street, opposite the Bridge House Hotel.
DJs Dr Funk and John Bongo will bring the music to the dance floor, with a night of high energy jazz-funk and soul dance tracks.
Tickets can be bought in advance from the Tourist Information Centre, Clocktower Music and Bridport Music Centre, and will also be available on the door. Tickets cost £10.
There will be a clipboard for requests on the night, but organisers have requested those in attendances do not approach the DJs in the hall.
Bridport Soul Club nights will be going ahead monthly, being held on the first Saturday of every month.
