A CLASSIC car display is going ahead in a west Dorset village as part of an 'out of lockdown celebration' next month.
'Broadwindsor's Fun Day' is set to take place at the Comrades Hall and Bernards' Place on Saturday, August 14.
The event is being put on by the Broadwindsor Fun Group, and is described as 'an out of lockdown celebration' - but will still be on a smaller scale with no processions and no road closures in place.
It will run from 10am until 9pm will the classic car display running from 10am until 12.30pm.
Throughout the day, there will be children's entertainment from local entertainer Strawberry Jam, live music from 4pm starting with Nina Garcia and finishing off with a performance from the Leggomen.
There will also be refreshments on hand, with tea and cakes freshly baked by members of the Broadwindsor WI and a barbecue.
