Dorset is bracing itself for wind gusts of nearly 50mph and rain showers, with a weather warning issued by the Met Office.
A description of the weather alert reads: "Strong winds could bring some disruption across parts of the south."
The Dorset coast will be impacted by the weather alert, with coastal towns of Bridport, Portland, Weymouth, Swanage, Bournemouth and Poole among the areas to be affected.
More inland areas of Dorchester, Wareham and Ferndown are also within the weather alert, with major routes of A35, A37 and A354 also under the warning.

The weather warning states there may be delays to traffic and travel as well as some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities will be affected by spray and/or large waves.
A mixture of light and heavy rain is forecast across Dorset during the weather warning, with disruption to travel expected.
