FIRE crews rushed to a west Dorset village as a fire broke out involving two cars and a house.
A car fire began in Litton Cheney early this morning, quickly spreading to another car and also affecting a house.
Crews from Bridport Fire Station and Dorchester Fire Station attended the scene at 6.35am this morning.
Once they arrived crews got to work extinguishing the fire, wearing breathing apparatus and using two hose reel jets to bring the fire to a stop.
Both cars were destroyed as a result of the fire and minimal damage was caused to the home.
Local authorities were requested to attend to lay sand down due to oil and fuel on the road.
