POLICE have launched an investigation into a suspected stolen Land Rover and trailer in west Dorset - which saw officers execute a Theft Act warrant.
The police operation happened around 10am on Sunday June 28, officers from Dorset Police Rural Crime Team - and a support team - discovered the car and trailer at a property in a rural area north of Bridport.
According to police, a Theft Act warrant was executed after officers worked alongside a vehicle examiner.
A Dorset Police spokesman said: "Officers from Dorset Police Rural Crime Team, Dorset Police Force Support group and a vehicle examiner executed a Theft Act warrant in rural Bridport.
"While at the premises we discovered a stolen Land Rover and a suspected stolen trailer.
"Our enquiries in to these matters continue."
