AN ANNUAL busking festival is making its return next month.

The B Sharp Busking Festival will be taking place in Lyme Regis on Saturday, July 3.

Buskers will be all around the town and the seafront from 11am until 5pm on the day. There will also be workshops and activities for all ages - including song-writing, sound production and a pop up choir - a 'play me' piano and drums for people to have a go on, an open mic session and performances by B Sharp bands - Hub Jams, Boombox and Bridport Jams.

A team of B Sharp's musicians and young leaders will be on hand to offer guidance and encouragement.

B Sharp is a small local charity based in Lyme Regis. It supports young people to develop their musical and personal skills, aiming to develop their confidence through performing and sharing their music with the local community.

This will be the first 'in-person' busking festival since 2019 - with last year's festival going ahead virtually due to the pandemic.
