FRESH after the successful return of its annual festival, Jazz Jurassica is running a series of jazz gigs in Lyme Regis.
Jazz Jurassica will be hosting live music events at the Marine Theatre on Church Street.
The first of these shows will showcase La Vie En Rose on Thursday, June 17 from 7.30pm. A 'gypsy jazz' band based in Lyme Regis, La Vie En Rose play exuberant music with a swing - featuring guitar, fiddle, clarinet and bass in a performance of uptempo tunes.
The second show will be the Simon Spillett Quartet on Thursday, July 22. Simon Spillett is a multi award winning tenor saxophonist, with a repertoire rooted in the 50s and 60s and a patter of witty one-liners.
