A POPULAR festival involving cider and sausages is set to return this year.
Lyme Regis Football club will once again by hosting the annual Sausage and Cider Festival on Saturday, July 3
Billed as a mini festival in a day, this free event raises funds for the football club and showcases a fantastic selection of local ciders, sizzling sausages and other refreshments.
The festival will be held from 2pm to 11pm and entry to the Davey Fort ground in Charmouth Road is by purchase of £2 reusable festival cup. Said cup can then be used at all the bars where a selection of more than 20 local ciders and other refreshments will be available.
A programme of live music and entertainment will be held throughout the day.
The festival was not held last year as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
