Bridport Leisure Centre will be closed until 'further notice'.
The leisure centre, based on Brewery Fields, Skilling Hill Road, shared an update on social media on Monday, May 31.
A spokeswoman said it is due to 'reasons beyond the Leisure Centre's control' and has subsequently closed the site and will refund any affected classes at the centre.
Reports on social media suggest it is due to travellers.
A spokesman for Bridport Leisure Centre said: "Good evening everyone, please note that due to reasons beyond the Leisure Centre's control, we will be closed until further notice.
"Please continue to monitor our social media and website for further updates.
"We are terribly sorry and we will update you as soon as possible.
"Refunds for any affected sessions will be given as soon as we are able to reopen.
"Kind regards, everyone at Bridport Leisure Centre."
