The West Bay Triathlon will take place on June 27
ONE of the Bridport area's most popular races is set to return next month.
The West Bay Triathlon will officially go ahead this year on Sunday, June 27, courtesy of Bridport-based business, Beyond Events.
Three events of varying difficulty will be taking place on the day - with super sprint, sprint and Olympic style events all available to participants.
The super sprint will consist of a 200 metre swim, an 18 km cycle and a three-and-a-half km run, whilst the sprint is a 400 metre swim, 26km cycle and a five-and-a-half km run.
The most challenging of the three is the Olympic event - which consists of an 1,500 metre swim, a 47km cycle and an eight km run.
