A YELLOW weather warning has been issued for Dorset ahead of strong winds expected tomorrow evening.
The Met Office has issued a weather warning due to strong winds which it expects to go on for 27 hours.
Winds reaching 55mph are set to batter areas such as Weymouth, Portland, Dorchester and West Bay tomorrow evening.
The Met Office has imposed the yellow weather warning from 6pm on Thursday until 9pm Friday night.
Windy weather may lead to some travel disruption and, perhaps, damage to temporary outdoor structures, the Met Office said.
