RESIDENTS of a village on the outskirts of Bridport are being asked to give their opinion on a climate and ecological plan currently in development.

Following Dorset Council's declaration of a climate and ecological emergency in May 2019 - and later the completion of the council's Climate and Ecological Emergency strategy in September 2020 - Loders Parish Council has drafted its own Climate and Ecological Emergency Action Plan.

The parish council has launched an online questionnaire to allow residents to have their say on the actions currently being considered - by indicating whether they agree or disagree with each proposed action.

The three central elements of the plan are transport, renewable energy and natural assets.
