LOCAL residents are invited to enjoy 3,000 blossoming trees at a Bridport cider farm.
As part of a national celebration of blossom, Dorset Nectar Cider Farm is inviting the people of Bridport and Dorset to visit its orchard in full blossom. The orchard has around 3,000 fully grown cider apple trees, all of which are currently bursting into bloom.
The owners have extended an invitation to come and enjoy the beauty of the blossom, to reflect and relax. Residents are welcome to bring a blanket or picnic.
The Dorset Nectar Cider Farm produces artisan ciders, apple juices and vinegars, using Dorset grown produce.
The Cider Farm and Tasting Room is open throughout the year, Monday to Saturday, from 10am to 6pm, but the month of May presents a special opportunity to enjoy the blossoms.
The orchard can be found on Pineapple Lane, Waytown, Bridport, DT6 5HZ.
