A SINGLE coronavirus death has been recorded across Dorset's hospitals within the past 24 hours, latest figures have confirmed.
Data released by NHS England shows that there has been one new Covid-19 related death recorded across the county’s hospitals.
The Covid-19 related death was recorded at Dorset County Hospital.
It is the first coronavirus death recorded in Dorset for the first time since April 8, which was confirmed at University Hospitals Dorset Trust.
This means that since the start of the pandemic the total number of people to have died at Dorset County Hospital remains at 112.
Elsewhere, 733 people have died at the University Hospitals Dorset Trust with Covid-19, while 73 people have died at the Dorset Healthcare Trust.
