New Covid-19 cases recorded across Dorset as rates continue to fall
THE Dorset area has seen an increase of 19 new cases of coronavirus within the last 24 hours, Government figures have revealed.
The Dorset Council area recorded 13 new cases, taking the total for the area to 11,765 since the start of the pandemic.
The BCP Council area recorded six new cases, taking the area's total to 25,180.
Across the south west region there were 82 new cases, bringing the total to 218,893.
A total of 1,954 new cases have been recorded across England - bringing the total up to 3,812,188 since the start of the pandemic.
Across the whole of the UK, 2,297 new cases of the Covid-19 virus were recorded taking the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 4,359,388.
