GUIDED walks around Bridport are set to return next week.

Bridport Museum’s guided walks, exploring some of the town's hidden histories, will be going ahead once again from Tuesday, March 30.

Volunteer guides will lead socially distanced walks around Bridport, sharing their insights into the town’s past.

In addition to Tuesday's walk, events are currently scheduled for Tuesday, April 6 and Tuesday, April 13 - leaving from the museum at 10am and lasting around an hour and a half. More walks are set to go ahead in April and May.

Participation costs £5 per adult and under 16s can join in for free. Numbers are limited to six people per walk or two households, due to Covid restrictions.

The museum's 'rogue ropemakers' will be making rope outside every Thursday from April 15 until the museum is able to reopen to the public on Monday, May 17.

Residents are invited to come along between 11.30am and 1pm on Thursdays to watch the experts twist their magic outside the museum.
