Statistics on how many people in the Dorset area have died of coronavirus
NO further coronavirus deaths have been recorded in Dorset hospitals in the last 24 hours.
Data released by NHS England shows there were no new deaths in the county’s hospitals, but there were two deaths in the wider south west region.
It means the totals remain the same, with 110 in the Dorset County Hospital and 73 deaths within the Dorset Healthcare Universities Trust.
Since the start of the pandemic there have been 721 deaths in University Hospitals Dorset.
A total of 48 people died with the virus in hospitals in England, bringing the total to 85,813. Those who died were between the ages of 48 and 102 years old -all had known underlying health conditions.
