A DORSET animal charity is holding a virtual guinea pig show throughout Guinea Pig Awareness Week 2021.
Margaret Green Animal Rescue, which is based near Wareham but has outlets around the county, is inviting residents to send in pictures of their guinea pigs throughout this week.
The online guinea pig show will help raise funds for the charity and coincides with Guinea Pig Awareness Week.
There are a number of categories - Monday saw nominations open for 'Best Guinea Pig Hairdo.'
Entries close on Thursday March 25 at 11.59pm, after which point the judging panel from the Church Knowle rescue centre will convene online to choose the winning guinea pigs.
There is no limit to the number of categories that each guinea pig can enter.
Winners and prizes will be announced on a Facebook live event at 11am on Sunday March 28.
Today's category is 'Best Accommodation'
