DORSET is set for sunnier spells in the coming days, according to the latest forecast from the Met Office.
The county has been hit by intervals of heavy rain since Wednesday, but this evening is set bring light showers with clear, sunny skies by 5pm.
This evening will be chilly with clear spells, and should stay frost free for most areas - with minimum temperature of 4 °C.
Met Office forecasters have said Dorset is set for sunny intervals at 5pm tomorrow evening as well.
Tomorrow morning is set to bring sunny intervals lasting from 7am until 4pm with light rain to follow - and gusts of wind reaching maximum speeds of 38mph.
Sunday will see a largely dry start, with patchy cloud allowing for some sunny spells early on. Around 4pm it will be cloudy, with widespread rain and drizzle in the evening, but it should brighten up and stay largely dry overnight - providing a maximum temperature of 10 °C.
Sunny intervals will continue into Monday with gusts of wind reaching maximum of 24mph, according to the Met Office.

Rain and drizzle is predicted for Tuesday morning, but some sunshine later.
The forecast for Wednesday is dry and bright, with light winds and temperatures turning milder.
