EMERGENCY services have been at the scene of a crash in west Dorset, after a vehicle skidded off the road and crashed into a tractor.
During a busy day for emergency services, two crews of firefighters as well as police, attended Pymore Road at around 11.11am amid reports that a person was trapped inside a vehicle that had flipped onto its side.
A Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "One passenger vehicle had skidded and collided with a bank flipping the car on to its side and impacting the front of a tractor.
"On scene the casualty had self extricated with the help of members of the public and no injuries were sustained. "Dorset Police also responded and the road was blocked for a short time."
The fire service warned road users to take extra care in hazardous weather conditions.
