POTENTIAL candidates can now be nominated for the councillor vacancy on Lyme Regis Town Council.
A by-election will take place on Thursday, May 6, providing there are two or more nominations.
Nomination forms are available to download from the Electoral Commission website, along with guidance for completing the form and information on campaigning.
The closing date for nominations is 4pm on Thursday, April 8.
The forms must be printed and filled out; electronic copies cannot be accepted.
Nomination papers must be hand delivered at South Walks House, South Walks Road, Dorchester DT1 1UZ between 8.30am and 4.30pm from Monday, March 29 until the April 8 closing date. Dorset Council is currently looking into whether it is able to offer a date to receive papers at other locations. Further updates will be provided if this is possible.
