BRIDPORT residents have less than one week remaining their say on the draft Dorset Council Local Plan.
The consultation ends on March 15 and once adopted, will guide decisions on planning applications in Dorset until 2038.
Bridport Town Council submitted its own response to the plan at the end of last month.
The document includes the council's overall response to the plan, along with a summary of the plan for residents, highlighting its primary concerns.
The next stage of the plan's production process will be to consider the feedback received from this consultation alongside any new evidence and to amend the plan accordingly. The final draft of the plan will then be made available for comment. This will be followed by submission of the plan and supporting evidence to the Secretary of State for examination.
Full details of the Local Plan consultation, which closes on Monday, March 15, can be found on the Dorset Council website, www.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk
Residents can send their comments using an online form, by email to planningpolicy@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk, or by post to Planning Policy, Dorset Council, South Walks House, Dorchester DT1 1UZ.
