APART from the enormous cost, disruption, carbon footprint, we should be aware of the safety aspect; not only to pedestrians, but the use of hydrogen as a fuel.
This proposed rail project will possibly end up as Bridport’s 21st century equivalent to a Victorian folly.
Let’s keep it pie in the sky. And finally, if there’s £50,000 to be spent on something in West Dorset why not give to Dorset County Hospital, to subsidise the medical staff parking on site - they have worked tirelessly for us through the pandemic.
