A CREATIVE writing competition is offering bursary opportunities to under represented local writers.
The Bridport Prize is giving writers the chance to apply for bursaries, enabling them to take part in this year's competition.
The February bursaries are now open for applications and awards will running monthly through to the competition deadline date on Monday, May 31.
The bursaries have been donated by other writers who are entering the competition who want to support fellow writers with their work.
All applications are considered in the strictest confidence and the competition organisers do not require any proof of income, stating that 'your word is good enough'.
