TWENTY deaths have been recorded in Dorset hospitals in the latests NHS update.
The release from NHS England on Wednesday, February 10, took the Dorset hospital coronavirus death toll to 761.
A further nine patients have died at University Hospitals Dorset, with one on February 2, four on February 7, three on February 8 and one on February 9.
Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester also recorded nine Covid deaths, with two on February 5, three on February 6 and February 7, respectively, and one on February 9.
Two deaths were recorded at Dorset HealthCare, with these occurring on February 8 and February 9.
Throughout the pandemic, 600 patients have died with Covid-19 at University Hospitals Dorset, which covers Royal Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch hospitals.
Dorset County Hospital has recorded a total of 95 deaths and Dorset Healthcare has recorded 66.
Nationally, the NHS update for February 10 reported that a further 664 patients across England died in hospital with coronavirus.
