I RECEIVED the following message from Father Christmas.

“From Santa Claus to the families and children of the Bridport and Beaminster area:

Christmas 2020 was a strange time and, because of movement and contact constraints, it was not so easy this year for me to do my rounds of the Bridport and Beaminster area in the time running up to the holiday.

But as every year the festive spirit was clearly to be seen and felt, and it was wonderful to be able to see and greet my friends in the area.

I want to thank everybody for the very warm welcome you gave to me and my helpers, and also for your generosity in contributing to Brit Valley Rotary Club funds for local charities.

I hope that you had a happy holiday and that your wishes were fulfilled. And may your good fortune continue into this New Year 2021.

I’m looking forward to greeting you all again next Christmas, when life is hopefully back to normal.

I would also like to thank Stags Estate Agents for sponsoring my sleigh this year, Burton Bradstock Cars for providing the towing vehicle for my sleigh and signwriter Colin Crabb of Vertiworks in

Burton Bradstock for decoration and texts on my towing vehicle and sleigh.

With best wishes from Santa Claus.”
