A CAR has been destroyed in what is believed to have been a 'suspicious' fire.
Yesterday, a car was destroyed in a fire on Cliff Road in Burton Bradstock.
At 10.19pm a fire engine from Bridport Fire Station was sent to the scene and extinguished the flames using two breathing kits and one hose reel jet.
The cause of the fire is believed to be suspicious and police have launched an investigation.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 10.32pm on February 4 that a car had been destroyed by fire in the area of Cliff Road in Burton Bradstock.
"It was reported that the cause of the fire was believed to be suspicious.
"Enquiries into the incident are ongoing. No arrests have been made at this stage."
