A COMMUNITY group supporting struggling young people in Bridport has received a generous anonymous donation.
The ASPIRE project, which celebrates its 11-year anniversary this month, has received a £900 anonymous donation from a well-wisher who said they wanted to 'support disadvantaged young people'.
The free service aims to support young people struggling with life and its demands and has continued to operate through the pandemic.
Volunteer manager Arthur Woodgate said: "When I got an email from the anonymous donor saying they wanted to send us some money I was absolutely thrilled.
"It is always a battle to get sufficient funding, especially now during the pandemic, so I am incredibly grateful.
"The money will enable us to keep supporting young people and provide them with any practical things they may need."
ASPIRE operates under the voluntary company BEST (Bridport Enterprise Supporting Training).
