A NUMBER of health centres across Weymouth, Portland and West Dorset are now distributing the Covid-19 vaccine.
Currently there are two vaccines authorised and recommended to prevent severe Covid-19 symptoms - Pfizer-BioNTech and the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine.
Sites distributing the vaccine to the most vulnerable in the community include the Bridport Medical Centre (Jurassic Coast Primary Care Network) and the Community Hospital (Weymouth & Portland Primary Care Network), in Melcombe Avenue, Weymouth.
The Atrium Health Centre (Mid Dorset Primary Care Network), in Weymouth Avenue, Dorchester is also administering jabs.
Other sites include Hamworthy Club (Poole North Primary Care Network) in Wimborne, Wareham Hospital (Purbeck Primary Care Network) in Wareham, , Sturminster Newton Medical Centre (The Vale Primary Care Network), The Digby Hall in Sherborne, and Whitecliff Surgery, Blandford.
