TWO men have been arrested in Weymouth town centre amid reports of anti-social behaviour.
Weymouth and Portland Police say their officers carried out patrols around the town centre on Saturday, January 23.
A man was detained by officers after a small group ran away from police near Weymouth train station.
He was searched and found to be in possession of drugs. A force spokesman said he was subsequently arrested for ‘an outstanding matter’ and also on suspicion of possession of drugs.
Another man was also issued with a dispersal order following reports of a group causing anti-social behaviour in St Thomas Street.
The man, who was ordered not to return to the area, was subsequently arrested after he later breached the police order.
