West Dorset residents are being reminded to stay safe whilst voting in upcoming elections.
On Thursday, May 6 residents in the Dorset Council area will go to the polls for the Police and Crime Commissioner elections along with several town and parish council by-elections.
While the elections are a few months away, Dorset Council is making plans now to help voters stay safe while casting their vote.
There are a number of ways to have your say in the upcoming elections and referendums. Whilst residents are expected to be able to vote at a polling station in May, they can also vote by post, or by proxy vote. Application forms to vote by post or proxy are available from the Electoral Commission website.
Other polls scheduled at this time include a by-election for Lyme Regis Town Council.
