WEST Dorset is due to be drenched by heavy rain this week as weather warnings have been issued by the Met Office.
Yellow warnings - meaning 'be prepared' are in place from Thursday to Saturday as downpours are forecast - bring the possibility of flooding and disruption.
The Met Office has warned us what to expect:
- Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely
- Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer
- Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer
- Some interruption to power supplies and other services likely
