SANTA CLAUS came to town this week, raising more than £1,700 for local causes.
Santa's sleigh travelled through Lyme Regis, Uplyme and Charmouth from December 6-8 interacting with residents and having his picture taken.
In the process volunteers were able to raise £1,703 for the Lyme Regis Community Bingo Association, which supports seven local organisations.
The annual charity sleigh is organised by Sarah and Neville Causley and is complete with festive lights and even a snow machine.
Mrs Causley said: "We would like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for coming out to see Santa the past few days, or giving us a wave from doorways and windows. We have been blown away by the support we’ve received and are so excited about the grand total raised from collections."
