MILLENNIUM Green is a place where children play and social groups gather on sunny days. Many mature citizens carry out formal exercise classes as the green is reasonably level and the setting is perfect.
Protesters, fetes, music groups and wedding parties use the green as it is a place that attracts people.
The only thing that spoils the scene is the amount of dog poo, and wee, that is left for all to slide, sit, and tread in. Dogs are welcomed all over Bridport, but please dog owners, take responsibility for the mess your favourite companions makes.
Dog excrement is not only found on grass areas but on the main shopping street pavements and many dogs that do not leave poo are allowed to urinate everywhere. I thought training a dog was part of the joy of owning them, apparently not.
