A DRUG dealer was caught with 66 rocks of crack cocaine hidden down his underpants when he was picked up by police who recognised his distinctive car.
Kevin Wieser's BMW, was known to be associated with drug-dealing, so officers pulled him over on Meath Street in Middlesbrough.
A quick search of his car revealed on deal of the Class A drug stashed in his dashboard but when a further search of him was carried out at the police station the rest of his stash was found.
Annelise Haugstad, prosecuting at Teesside Crown Court, said: "He said he had been planning to sell to people on the street because people in the central Middlesbrough area knew his car."
Wieser, 23, of Roman Road in the Linthorpe area of Middlesbrough, pleaded guilty to possession of class A drugs with intent to supply on October 10 this year.
Kelleigh Lodge, in mitigation, said her client deserved full credit for his early guilty plea.
She said: "He said pressure was placed on him to sell drugs and he says he is glad he can now distance himself from the people that got him involved in supplying drugs in the first place."
Judge Howard Crowson jailed Wieser for three years for the offence.
He dismissed the defendant's plea of coercion saying many dealers claim to have been pressured into selling drugs.
