FIRE crews have been in attendance at a chimney fire at a Dorset village.
Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to Forum View in Bryanston, near Blandford today at around 10.14am following reports of the blaze.
Crews were immediately mobilised from Blandford and Sturminster Newton.
A DWFRS spokesman said: "Upon arrival, crews requested an aerial appliance from Westbourne to help them extinguish the chimney fire.
"Both pumps from Blandford and Sturminster are in attendance alongside the aerial appliance.
"All occupants are safe."
Crews remained in attendance to ensure it was completely extinguished, and an investigation is being carried out.
Please be aware that Forum View in Bryanston, Blandford Forum is currently closed due to our Aerial Appliance in attendance and working on a chimney fire. Please avoid the area for the foreseeable future.
