RESIDENTS are once again being encouraged to incorporate a local orchard into their daily exercise routines.
With the second national lockdown now in place, the Bridport Community Orchard has had to postpone its usual work sessions once again.
As they did during the first lockdown, committee members and volunteers at the orchard are now asking residents to visit the orchard, behind St Mary's Church off South Street, when out for exercise and to report back to them with if you spot anything out of the ordinary.
The committee and volunteers will also be keeping an eye on the orchard.
Providing the nation is out of lockdown, the orchard plans to have a stall at the Christmas Cheer-Up market on Saturday December 12.
You can get in contact with the orchard via their Facebook page 'Bridport Community Orchard'.
