AN INNOVATIVE seven bedroom flat pack mansion in Lyme Regis - which appeared in a Channel 4 series - is on the market at just under £4 million.
The house, which is situated in Uplyme, is listed on Zoopla at £3,950,000.
The house is known as 'the Lookout' and featured in 'Flat Pack Mansions', a Channel 4 documentary series which centres around luxury mansions being built in short periods of time.
It is a flat pack home, which is a term used to describe houses where the parts are built in a factory or manufacturing facility, the parts are then transported to the site in pieces and erected on-site. This process reduces labour time along with building costs.
It was built using 'eco walls', which have low carbon emissions, meaning they are much more environmentally friendly than other options out there.
The Lookout was built in 2016 by Richard and Nikki Cooper, who lived there for four years with their two children.
The couple originally budgeted £700,000 for the project but eventually spent £1.2 million on it.
Since then, the value of the house has almost quadrupled - giving them a profit of close to 2.8 million in just four years.
Alongside the seven bedrooms, the house boasts five bathrooms, a gym, a heated swimming pool and even includes a sauna and a cinema room. The house sits in a private, secluded position in 58 acres of land, surrounded by private woodland and with views across the Dorset countryside.
Inside of the house, the layout is described by Zoopla as 'fantastic for entertaining and family living in equal measure'.
The double-height entrance and staircase hall brings plenty of natural light into the house, and the large open plan kitchen is fitted with bespoke units and links with the living space and wrap-around terrace, with large glass sliding doors leading to the outside grounds.
The lower ground floor features three bedrooms, one with a double bed and two with bespoke bunk beds, designed with adults in mind, the floor also includes a family-sized shower room.
The next floor up plays host to four further bedrooms, including the master bedroom, which has a large walk-in wardrobe and a private bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower and double sink.
The main guest bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom and the two other bedrooms have their own shower rooms.
The area is renowned for its standard of life, with a vast number of restaurants and farm shops which support the local community.
The village of Uplyme is situated around a mile from the Lookout with many amenities including Woodroffe Primary School, a post office, a church and a village pub.
