A BARROW man has been fined and given a driving ban after drug driving.
Callum James Bower, 21, of Hartington Street, pleaded guilty to driving on Cheviot Green in Barrow, on April 29, with a proportion of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood that exceeded the specified limit.
He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and given a £120 fine.
Bower also had to pay a victim surcharge cost of £34 as well as £85 court costs.
In total, he had to pay £239 and an application for this to be deducted from his benefits was made when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court.
